Zoe Laughlin

Dr Zoe Laughlin is an artist, engineer, material scientist and broadcaster. She is co-founder and director of the Institute of Making at University College London.

She became the first resident scientist conducting experiments on ITV’s This Morning and has gone on to present a number of investigative science and engineering programmes for BBC2 and BBC4. Zoe is also passionate about food and is a regular panellist on BBC Radio 4’s The Kitchen Cabinet where her experimental approach takes the team in unexpected directions.

Recently Zoe was the expert presenter for the ‘Unofficial Science of…’ series on Sky Max. Joined by different comedians she recreated the stunts from Home Alone, Die Hard and Indiana Jones.
